About this festival
The Denver Jewish Film Festival is one of Colorado’s longest-running film festivals, presented each winter by the Mizel Arts and Culture Center at the JCC Denver. The 2026 edition marked the festival’s 30th year, featuring 40 films celebrating Jewish culture. Programming centers on films written or directed by Jewish people or connected to Jewish culture, identity, history, or contemporary issues, alongside filmmaker Q&As, special events, and community conversations. Screenings run primarily at the Elaine Wolf Theatre, and the festival regularly programs international features, documentaries, and shorts that don’t otherwise reach Colorado screens.
