The Telluride Horror Show is Colorado’s first and longest-running horror film festival, held annually each October in the world-famous mountain resort town of Telluride. Founded in 2010, the festival has grown into one of the highest-attended genre film festivals globally, attracting more than 1,000 horror fans to the 2,500-person town for three days of spine-chilling cinema.
Named one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “20 Coolest Film Festivals” and The New York Times’ “5 Halloween Film Festivals Worth Traveling For,” the Horror Show screens horror, thriller, suspense, dark fantasy, sci-fi, and dark comedy films from around the world. Most films receive their first U.S. showings, featuring works from both emerging and established talent in venues including the historic Sheridan Opera House, the Palm, and the Nugget Theater.
