The World Premiere of In the Absence of Shelter, a documentary following Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning (RMSEL) students as they step beyond graduation into a solo wilderness journey that tests everything they’ve learned. The screening includes opening remarks and a post-film talk-back. Hosted at The People’s Building in Aurora.
RMSEL is a K–12 public school of choice operated in partnership with the Aurora, Denver, and Littleton school districts and the Public Education & Business Coalition, with a curriculum built on Outward Bound principles and multidisciplinary learning expeditions.
